Maltese entrepreneur’s business in final for prestigious IT award

Malta-born Daniel Camilleri is the Founder and CEO of Cyberselves technologies which is currently one of 15 finalist teams developing physical avatar systems to make telepresence and human interaction possible across the world and which are in competition to win the $10 million (€8.6 million) ANA Avatar XPRIZE.

Cyberselves is based in Sheffield, UK.

Out of 38 teams that made it to the semi-finals, the company was seventh out of 15 that qualified for the final (one out of two from England and only one out of four from Europe).
